Standard Polypropylene Bags
Polypropylene filter bags are commonly used when chemical compatibility is the main priority. Polypropylene offers strong resistance to many acids, alkalis, and aggressive chemical solutions, making it a popular choice for chemical processing, wastewater treatment, plating solutions, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, and other process filtration applications.
Compared to polyester, polypropylene generally has lower temperature resistance, but better chemical resistance in many applications. This makes it a strong choice when filtering corrosive or chemically active liquids at moderate temperatures.
